Design and Display Freshdesk Banners
If you run a Freshdesk support center notification banners are a great way to keep your customers informed of important outages and updates. First, prepare Your Announcement Banner
Start by creating an account with newclick.io. Newclick helps you create and schedule important announcements on your Freshdesk website. You can schedule a start and end date for your notification message. Use countdown timers, links, and emoji. Choose your background and text color to make your banner look amazing.
Installing Your Announcement Banner
After you set up your account with newclick.io, create your first banner. Once you've done that, the last step is to install the newclick.io announcement banner onto your Freshdesk help center.
After you've saved your banner in newclick.io, click on the install code snippet button. Next, you'll want to copy and paste the code snippet into your Freshdesk Theme Workbench. To do that you'll need to...
- Log in to your Freshdesk Admin Site.
- Click on Admin > Portals > Customize Portal.
- Select the Layout & Pages tab.
- Under Portal Layout, customize the header, footer and overall layouts.
